The Samsung Galaxy J7 is a relatively older version of the Samsung Galaxy Series. The Samsung Galaxy J7 also known as Samsung J7 was announced in June 2015 and officially released in July 2015.
The phone comes in four models. J700F model for India and Thailand. The J700M model for Latin America and Brazil, the J700H for South Africa, Pakistan, Vietnam, Philipines and Russia. And finally, the J700T model for global use with T-Mobile or Metro PCS as carriers.
This phone is relatively smaller in size than most of the current Samsung phones. It has body dimensions of 5.99 x 3.10 x 0.30 inches and a weight of 171 g. Its back and frames are made of plastic while the screen is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The 2015 Samsung Galaxy J7 also comes with a 5.5 inches super AMOLED display. It has a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Its Operating System is the Android version 5.0, also known as Lollipop. However, it can be upgraded to version 7.1.1.
Running on the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 and Exynos 7580 Octa chipsets, the Samsung J7 works with an octa-core CPU. Its GPU is Adreno 405.
CAMERA AND MEMORY

Estimated talk time is up to 18 hours while Music play time is estimated to be around 76 hours.
The phone does not support wireless charging or quick charge.
Other features of the Samsung Galaxy J7 include; Wifi, Wi-fi direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, radio and USB 2.0. It also has an accelerometer, proximity and ANT+.

After being in the system for over 5 years now and being followed by many greater Samsung phones, the J7 is difficult to find on the market now. The Ghanaian market in particular doesn’t have it in abundance. Most of the biggest electronics and mobile phone shops in the country may not have it on display. However, it is not entirely impossible to acquire the device here in Ghana. You can get the brand new version between GHS 500 to GHS 650.
