Itel A32 Specifications and Price In Ghana

The Itel A32 is one of the few phones added on the Android market by the Itel company in 2018. The A32 is a cost-effective smartphone which has proven to be a good-buy for anyone seeking to buy a simple phone at a cheap cost.

It was first announced and released in December 2018. It has body dimensions of 5.66 x 2.85 x 0.37 inches and weighs roughly 123 g. It’s built with a plastic frame and comes with a Dual Sim mode.

Its display is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which is 5 inches big. The screen resolution is 480 x 854 pixels. It is further covered with scratch-resistant glass for extra protection.

Android version 8.1 provides a great software framework for the phone to operate. Its chipset is the Mediatek MT6580 with backing support of a 1.3GHz Quad-core cortex-A7 CPU. The device also comes with a powerful Mali-400MP2 GPU.

Camera and Memory

Though memory may not necessarily be a stronghold for the Itel A32, it still comes with a sizeable 8GB internal storage space and a 1GB RAM. The internal memory can, however, be expanded with an external memory card of up to 32GB.

The phone also possesses a single 5MP main camera which supports geotagging, touch focus, PDAF and HDR. The secondary camera, on the other hand, comes with a single 2MP lens.

Both cameras produce vidoe of 720p quality.

Battery and Other Features

Compared to other Itel phones on the market and most other smartphones, the A32 has a rather weak battery system. It has a removable Lithium-Ion battery of 1,900 mAH capacity. It neither supports fast charging nor wireless charging. Its talk time rating is pegged at 18 hours while standby and music are 200 hours and 15 hours respectively.

The phone, however, has a fingerprint sensor, Face ID, accelerometer, proximity and FM radio. It also supports USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi, Wifi Direct, hotspot and GPS.

Price And Where To Buy In Ghana

The brand new version of the Itel A32 costs between GHS 300 to GHS 400. It is mostly expected to be within the middle range of this price. However, the used version may be relatively cheaper and cost as low as GHS150 or as high as GHS 240. Click here to see some of the prices.

If this phone doesn’t make the cut for you, for some reasons, then you may want to check out the Itel S15.

Conclusion

Itel phones are really not the most powerful smartphones you may want to buy. If you are a heavy gamer or someone who goes large on social media and other intense applications, you may really not find low-end Itel phones compatible. However, the Itel A32 is a very cool phone for anyone looking to acquire a smartphone on a budget.

Its camera is not so bad and the storage capacity is fairly okay since you may not be taking so many pictures or downloading too many games to occupy all the space.
